Head – HR Operations

Overview

Bridging Gaps is hiring a seasoned Head – HR Operations on behalf of a leading multi-billion-dollar conglomerate based in Mumbai. This leadership role is ideal for HR professionals who have successfully managed large-scale HR operations within complex organizations and are passionate about driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and exceptional employee experiences.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR Operations across multiple business units and geographic locations.

• Oversee the complete employee lifecycle, ensuring efficient and consistent HR service delivery.

• Drive HR transformation initiatives, including process automation, digital adoption, and continuous improvement programs.

• Manage HRIS governance, HR policies, and operational frameworks to enhance efficiency and compliance.

• Partner closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to improve employee experience and support organizational objectives.

• Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory requirements, labour regulations, internal policies, and audit standards.

• Develop and monitor HR analytics and reporting dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

• Lead teams responsible for delivering high-quality HR operations while fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to HR Operations leadership roles.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing large employee populations within complex, multi-location organizations.

• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, HR governance, and HR service delivery.

• Experience leading HR transformation, process optimization, and automation initiatives.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within large conglomerates or diversified business groups.

• Exposure to industries such as manufacturing, infrastructure, FMCG, retail, engineering, or similar sectors.

• Experience working with enterprise-level HRIS platforms and leveraging HR analytics to improve operational outcomes.

• Proven ability to lead large HR teams and manage change in dynamic business environments.
